Track Name: A Coal Complaint
The miners worked in the dark for their precious coal
The mineshaft cable unwound and they all fell down in the hole
And oh what a wondrous, glorious thing they found
A marble sized diamond was a hidden in the soot filled ground
And oh how they died as they danced around

In another dirty mine little children slaved and worked
Spending their lives away in the wet dark earth
Till one day the waters of a flood unfold
and the foreman made a fortune next day from a sifting gold
And the lives of the miners and the sweet children were all wrapped together in a diamond ring
wrapped around the finger of abandoned bride
sitting in a taxi on her way back home

To her lovely mother, and her furious father
and they told her so gently, she had every right to weep
